You are Cordially Invited to Join our Host Committee.
Historic Germantown is thrilled to announce that the 2024 Historic Germantown Hall of Fame will return to the
elegant ballroom at the Commodore John Barry Arts and Cultural Center on Friday, June 7th, 2024.
We will honor three extraordinary individuals whose contemporary contributions are uniquely intertwined with the
history of the German Township, which today we know as Germantown, Mount Airy and Chestnut Hill.

Please join us in honoring:
STEVE KURTZ
Founder of Kurtz Construction Company, historic preservationist, and community volunteer
SARA M. LOMAX
President and CEO of WURD Radio, entrepreneur, and journalist
URSULA RUCKER
World-renowned poet, recording artist, and activist

The Host Committee plays a key role in the Hall of Fame’s success by making a contribution and by asking friends, neighbors, family and
colleagues to purchase tickets to the event. This is Historic Germantown’s signature fundraising event, vital to the continuation of our
community services and public programs, as well as the Sustaining Our Sites Fund, which helps to preserve all 19 of the
historic, green, and cultural sites that make our community singular in America.
