Historic Germantown is pleased to announce that its upcoming annual Hall of Fame event is to take place on Friday, June 7th, 2024,
in the ballroom of the Commodore John Barry Arts and Cultural Center at 6815 Emlen Street in Germantown, Philadelphia.
This is Historic Germantown’s signature annual fundraising event, vital to the continuation of our community services and public programs
that help to support, promote, and preserve all 19 of the historic, green and cultural sites in our consortium that make our community singular in America.

Our Hall of Fame honors those who are making history today with their significant contributions to the quality of life in the
German Township–William Penn’s land grant in 1682 which is now known as Germantown, Mount Airy and Chestnut Hill.
In 2024, we are thrilled to honor three extraordinary individuals:

Founder of Kurtz Construction Company, historic preservationist, and community volunteer
President and CEO of WURD Radio, entrepreneur, and journalist
World-renowned poet, recording artist, and activist

This is a trio of goodness. We ask  you to support Historic Germantown, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, by honoring them
with your sponsorship of this event. With your help, Historic Germantown will continue to tell the community’s stories and
to provide support for preservation and programming at our 19 sites. 10% of your contribution will be allocated to the
Sustaining Our Sites fund for restoration and maintenance projects at these member sites.
